Double Thumb Slapping Technique

Double Thumb Slapping consists in alternating downstrokes (actually, down-slaps) and upstrokes (actually, up-plucks) with the thumb. The movement is executed at the last fret by lightly strumming the strings, the way you would with a plectrum. This technique allows you to play dense and/or fast grooves. This course provides a video demonstration example and two technical exercises with their corresponding recordings, as well as eight grooves and basslines you can play along to backing tracks.
